Location: Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka
Salary: Tk. 150000 – 250000 (Monthly)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process.
- Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on Ruby on Rails.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, front-end technologies (React JS, Vue JS), server-side templating languages, and server-side CSS preprocessors.
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.
- A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code.
- Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
